This is the first year of benchmarking
facility services functions at Fossil Generation Power Plants. DTE Energy is
sponsoring the study and there is no cost to participate. Participants may
consolidate data for multiple plants or submit data for each plant.

Benchmarking Objectives...
Our objectives are:
- To determine the related normalized facility costs, utilities, and services to support a fossil generation plants.
- To provide a method to measure our effectiveness
- To find strengths and weaknesses
- To create an awareness of best practices
- To challenge business-as-usual methods
- To establish goals for further improvements
- To facilitate discussions on best practices between organizations
Participant Agreement...
- Participants are defined as those parties completing the "Participant Registration Form."
- Benchmarking data is confidential and for the exclusive use by the participants and their agents.
- Disclosure of the data and report contents to non-participants is prohibited.
- Disclosure of company codes, to those participants that are ineligible to receive them, is prohibited.
- Benchmarking data will be provided by participants per the agreed upon schedule.
- Benchmarking data and report information will be made available to the participants as follows:
- All data will be coded and and codes will not be disclosed
- If a participant wants to initiate a discussion a discussion with another participant, then Facility Issues will determine if the other party is willing to disclose their identity.
Facility Issues...
Will not provide report data, or the report to non-participants.
