years

The question was asked, "Who is using Green Power?" Baxter is purchasing
100% green electricity. They report the pricing premium is highly variable.
One option is to buy a green asset to control the power. There was some
discussion of installing wind power on a site but no one has done that yet.
For recycling the question was asked, "if anyone has found a certified
LEED recycler?". Rich Reyes has used one and will provide the contact info.
Regarding plastic water bottles, some participants have eliminated their
use in the facility and installed water filters.
ComEd implemented a program to recycle electronic components for
employees such as TVs and computer equipments. The employees could bring
them to work and they would be recycled. The contractor used was URI and the
contact person is Kurt who can be reached at 630-562-8106. There was no
charge for the employees but the transportation cost and recycle fee was
less than $5,000.

to about 1000 employees.
